Austrian champions FC Red Bull Salzburg were in action last night as they came up against record European champions Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly match played at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg with Chipolopolo duo of striker Patson Daka and midfielder Enock Mwepu coming on as second half substitutes.

Former Chelsea FC and Belgium star Eden Hazard scored the lone goal of the match which was also his first for Madrid,as he curled a brilliant strike from the edge of the box past Salzburg keeper Cican Stankovic in the 19th minute,a goal that would go on to be the match winner for the Spanish giants.

Daka and Mwepu played the entire second half with the latter placed in a centre-back role in which he stood firm to ensure Jesse Marsch’s men did not leak in more goals while the former also threatened upfront.
