First Juriplume edition: the awards ceremony scheduled for December 2026
The official awards ceremony for the first edition of the Juriplume call for texts is scheduled for the first half of December 2026. The announcement was made through a press release.
Promoting literary creation, rewarding winners and promoting reading and writing is what the initiators of the first edition of the Juriplume call for texts aim to achieve. The prizes will be awarded during the month of December.
“Through its call for texts, Juriplume, in partnership with Le Carré Culturel, wishes to encourage literary creation, offer a space of expression to authors and promote works which question essential themes of human existence,” indicates the text.
Thus, at the end of the first selection phase, ten texts were preselected. These texts will all be subject to a second evaluation by the five members of the jury, according to defined literary and thematic criteria.

“At the end of this re-evaluation, three winners will be selected. Their names will be revealed exclusively during the official awards ceremony, in order to preserve the confidentiality of the deliberations and to guarantee an official proclamation of the results,” we read in the text.
This ceremony will thus constitute a highlight of celebration of literature, recognition of authors and meeting between book stakeholders, institutions, partners and the public. Created in October 2025, “Juriplume-Entre Droit et Littérature” is an initiative that places law and literature at the heart of the same approach to transmission, reflection and valorization of knowledge.
Juriplume therefore intends to create a meeting space between these two worlds. Through panels, thematic exchanges, book presentations, shared readings, book summaries, literary citations and legal popularization activities, the initiative works to promote reading and writing, the democratization of knowledge and a better understanding of legal and social issues.
It should be noted that the first edition was organized around five themes. These include freedom, justice, love, courage and dignity.
