Sangomar and GTA production: 2.94 million barrels and 0.33 million cubic meters of LNG produced

In September 2026, three cargoes of crude oil were shipped and marketed on the international market, for a total volume of 2.94 million barrels and two cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) representing a total volume of 0.33 million cubic meters, were produced at the Sangomar and GTA fields, respectively.

In the monthly report of the production of the Sangomar and GTA oil and gas fields published Friday, the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, it appears that a total volume of 2.94 million barrels and two cargoes of liquefied natural gas (GTA).

“Sangomar: During the month of September 2026, three cargoes of crude oil were shipped and marketed on the international market, for a total volume of 2.94 million barrels. The production plateau has begun a downward shift, due to a decline in daily production,” we read in the document.

The same source indicates that in the GTA gas field, two cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) were exported during the period under review. This represents a total volume of 0.33 million cubic meters of LNG. The production plateau continues, attesting to the good performance of the reservoir and installations.
