Ouakam: two individuals arrested for alleged cocaine trafficking
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) arrested two individuals in Ouakam on September 28, 2026, for alleged acts of criminal association, detention and hard drug trafficking.
According to the information communicated, the arrest took place during a night patrol in the area. Investigators noticed an individual whose attitude seemed suspicious to them and carried out an identity check.
The security pat-down carried out on the suspect revealed five pellets of cocaine in his possession. The search of his apartment, located in the same area, then led to the discovery of ten additional pellets of the same product.
Continuing investigations also allowed investigators to identify and arrest the alleged supplier. The two individuals were taken into custody. The investigation continues to determine the exact circumstances of the facts and establish responsibilities.
