Obituary: a young CCJ advisor from Walaldé dies in an accident

While she was on her way back after taking part in the official installation of the Youth Advisory Council, chaired by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Binta Wahabine Diop, municipal councilor of Walaldé (department of Podor) lost her life this Thursday, October 1 in a traffic accident.

This tragic disappearance plunged the entire commune of Walaldé into turmoil and dismay. According to testimonies, the deceased was a committed and determined young woman, who worked for the development of her region, but also for the emancipation of women.
