Magal Kazu Rajab: Serigne Abo Mbacké thanks the State and preaches the exemplary nature of Serigne Fallou Mbacké
Kazu Rayab’s magal, placed under the theme: “the efforts of Serigne Fallou Mbacké to promote the Mouride civilizational project”, ended Saturday in Touba with an official ceremony. The government, represented by the Minister of Professional Training, was thanked by the Caliph, Serigne Abo Mbacké, for his presence.
The official closing ceremony of the Magal de Kazu Rajab 2026 took place this Saturday in Touba. The Minister of Vocational Training, Moustapha Ndieck Sarré, accompanied by the Minister of Family and Solidarity, represented the President of the Republic and the government on this occasion.
From the outset, Mr. Sarré conveyed the greetings and thanks of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister to the Caliph General of the Mourides and to Serigne Abo Mbacké, Caliph of Serigne Fallou Mbacké. He stressed that their presence, along with a high-level delegation, testifies to the importance of this event celebrating the birth of a great man whose blessings continue to shower upon the country.
Returning to the theme of the magal, Minister Moustapha Ndieck Sarré praised the efforts of Serigne Fallou Mbacké in the construction of the great mosque, the urbanization of Touba and its supply of drinking water, among other achievements.
He requested prayers from Serigne Abo Mbacké for the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, asking “that peace and stability reign in Senegal”. Before concluding, he recalled the State’s commitments to Touba, in particular the “Daara-Atelier” project, which aims to offer professional training to students of Koranic schools. He announced that the Caliph General of the Mourides has made the site available and that work will begin this year.
On behalf of the Caliph of Serigne Fallou Mbacké, Serigne Ahmadou Rafahi Mbacké praised the government’s efforts for the success of the event. Through the Minister of Vocational Training, he thanked the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister.
Seizing the opportunity, Serigne Abo Mbacké Fallou invited the faithful to take Serigne Fallou as a model. He stressed that everyone must be inspired by their righteousness and their relationship to work, in order to live on legal income.
The ceremony also brought together foreign delegations, in addition to those from the government and religious families of the country, who came to commune with the family of Serigne Fallou Mbacké.
