Explosion of a terrestrial mine in Tunisia: a dead man and an injured in the region of Kasserine
A civilian lost his life and another was seriously injured on Friday following the explosion of a land mine in western Tunisia, according to local media.
According to a medical source required anonymity, the explosion occurred on the slopes of Mont Salloum, located in the governorate of Kasserine, near the Algerian border.
This region, located west of the country and bordering on Algeria, has already been the scene of armed clashes between terrorist groups and the Tunisian security forces. The Ministry of Defense of Tunisia calls for the greatest caution and not recommended access to closed military areas, due to the danger of land mines.
