Diplomacy: Strategic meeting in Tunis between Mohamed Ali Nafti and a senior NATO official

Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met on Monday evening in Tunis Javier Colomina, deputy secretary general delegate of NATO in charge of political affairs and security policy, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The latter said that Mr. Colomina, who is also a special representative of the NATO secretary general for the southern vicinity, is making a working visit to Tunisia on April 7 and 8.

During this exchange, Mr. Nafti and the NATO official discussed the means of strengthening and diversifying dialogue between Tunisia and the Alliance. The objective is to boost bilateral cooperation and consolidate a partnership capable of providing coordinated and effective responses to current regional challenges, said the ministry.
