Cameroon: a murderous attack by Boko Haram left a dozen deaths

Cameroon: 03 soldiers killed in an attack from Boko Haram in Hilé-Alifa

An attack attributed to the terrorist group Boko Haram cost the life of three Cameroonian soldiers, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, in Hilé-Alifa, a town located in the Logone-et-Chari department, Far North region. Six other soldiers were injured, according to local security sources.

The assault took place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time. The heavily armed attackers managed to seize three heavy weapons and a large stock of ammunition before falling back.

This attack is part of a series of recent incursions by Boko Haram in the border areas of Cameroon and Nigeria. And this, despite the operations in progress within the framework of Lake Sanity II, an offensive led by the mixed multinational force (FMM) aimed at neutralizing terrorist groups in the region of the Chad Lake Basin.
