Gabon: Alexandre Barro Chambrier named Government Vice-President
By presidential decree taken this Monday, May 5, Alexandre Barro Chambrier was appointed vice-president of the government.
The announcement was made by the secretary general of the presidency, Professor Guy Rossatanga-Rignault, during a declaration broadcast on national television. Former Deputy Prime Minister During the Transition, Barro Chambrier is entrusted with the coordination of government action, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
Training economist, an associate professor in economics and senior state official, Alexandre Barro Chambrier is also a leading political figure in Gabon. He was born on August 25, 1958 in Paris.
