Ndéye Sow Leila gets one month in prison October 26, 2026
Ndéye Sow Leila has just been sentenced by the Dakar flagrante delictos court to 6 months, 1 of which is fixed, accompanied by a fine of 500,000 FCFA. She was prosecuted before the court of flagrante delictos in Dakar for insulting a group of people through a computer system and speeches contrary to good morals.
She was placed under arrest warrant last Thursday.
During a program on the Sen TV channel, Ms. Leila said to the members of “And Samm Jikko Yi”: “Ay Sagarou Imam laniou. They are liars, bandits and men of hell…”
The representative of the prosecution requested 6 months, 3 of which are closed. The defense considered that this was a response to political adversaries and requested acquittal.
