The National Highway Company of Senegal (SN ADS SA) denies rumors spread on social networks reporting a round trip rate of 15,000 FCFA for the toll on the Dakar-Kaolack highway. The details were made in a note published on Monday.
The National Highway Company of Senegal (SN ADS SA) categorically denies the erroneous information recently disseminated on social networks, reporting a round trip rate of 15,000 FCFA for the toll on the Dakar-Kaolack highway.
“SN ADS SA wishes to re-establish the truth of the facts among road users and public opinion: the rate applied for a private vehicle on the Dakar-Kaolack route is 6,500 FCFA over a 184 km route, or 35 FCFA per kilometer,” indicates the text of SN ADS SA.
Concerning the new Mbour-Kaolack section newly opened to traffic, the same source informs that the price for the same category of vehicle is 3,000 FCFA over 100 km, or 30 FCFA per kilometer.

“The toll fees currently applied respond to the logic of social tariffs, designed to guarantee accessibility to the greatest number of people. SN ADS SA invites the general public not to relay these unfounded rumors and to refer exclusively to the company’s official information channels,” concludes the note.
