Louga: the Minister of the Civil Service listens to labor agents

The Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Public Service Reform, Mamadou Lamine Dianté, visited the Louga Regional Labor and Social Security Inspectorate on Monday. This tour aimed to inquire about the working conditions of agents and to assess the quality of services provided to users.

Discussions with staff made it possible to identify several difficulties, notably the deficit in human resources, the insufficiency of logistical resources and the lack of computer equipment. The minister assured that these concerns will be addressed as soon as possible.

He also underlined that the adoption of the bills on the Labor Code and the Social Security Code will contribute to strengthening the legal and human resources of labor inspections.

According to him, these reforms are part of the government’s desire to modernize the administration and offer a more efficient public service.
