(Video) Meta Dia, reggaeman: “Echoes of Time marks a new stage in my journey”

Senegalese artist based in the United States, Mohamed Yaya Dia known as Meta Dia has established himself as one of the figures of contemporary roots reggae through his work with the group Meta & The Cornerstones. A former rapper in Dakar, he develops a work mixing reggae, African influences and spirituality, carried by messages of peace, unity and social consciousness. He is currently preparing the release of his fifth album, Echoes of Time, announced for May 2026, a highly anticipated new stage in his international artistic journey. In this interview, he goes into detail about the conception of this album and the intentions which guided its creation.
