Tunisia: 09 bodies of migrants drafted off the eastern ribs

Nine bodies of migrants were found off the eastern coast of Tunisia, said Farid Ben Jha, spokesperson for Monastir and Mahdia, two provinces located in the country’s country on Thursday.

According to his statements, the Mahdia Coast Guard units repeated the bodies, all from sub -Saharan Africa, while 27 other people have been rescued.

These migrants had left the coast of Jebiniana Tuesday evening aboard a local manufacturing boat, which was sinking off the coast of Chebba, a neighboring city. A large maritime operation is underway to find the six people who are still missing.
