Senelec station in Keur Sœur: acts of vandalism disrupt the supply of electricity to Diamniadio

Acts of vandalism, targeting the Keur Sœur substation in Diamniadio, are causing a disruption in electricity distribution. Senelec reported the “inconvenience” in a press release published this Friday.

The electricity supply was disrupted by acts of vandalism in the Diamniadio area. These acts having targeted the Sis position of Keur Sœur of Diamniadio will cause “inconvenience” to Deny Malick Gueye and part of Diamniadio.

Senelec declares, in a press release released this Friday 25, that its “teams are deployed on the ground to properly deal with this incident”, the re-supply of these affected areas will be done “as soon as possible”.

It reminds the population of the consequences of such acts which “seriously undermine the continuity and quality of the public electricity service”. The national company in charge of electricity therefore apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience caused by these disruptions beyond its control.
