Senegal-Azerbaijan: a new dynamic in bilateral relations

A memorandum of understanding establishing political consultations was signed between Senegal and Azerbaijan on the occasion of the High Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The information was given on Friday evening by the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad.

On the occasion of the High Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Cheikh Niang, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, signed with his Azerbaijani counterpart a memorandum of understanding establishing political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad.

This memorandum establishes, according to a note from the ministry, a regular framework for consultation between the two countries, intended to promote political dialogue and deepen their mutual understanding on issues of common interest.
