President Bassirou Diomaye Faye receives Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in Dakar

The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received in audience this Tuesday the former President of Liberia and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
The discussions focused in particular on the high-level forum on women’s leadership, which opens this Wednesday in Dakar, at the initiative of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Center.
This international meeting will be devoted to issues related to the development of Africa and the promotion of female leadership. It will bring together several actors around a reflection on the role of women in the transformation and development of the continent.
On this occasion, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf thanked the Senegalese head of state for agreeing to host this forum in Dakar. The presence of the former Liberian leader testifies to the importance given to this initiative dedicated to the promotion of women’s leadership in Africa.
