NBA: Mouhamed Gueye aims for a return at the end of November after his broken foot
The Atlanta Hawks will still have to wait before finding Mouhamed Gueye. The Senegalese interior, absent since the start of the season, could return to court around November 20, 2026.
It all dates back to July 8. In training, the 23-year-old fractured his left foot. He underwent surgery on July 14 in Atlanta, and since then, the Georgia franchise has closely followed the progress of his convalescence. This end of November deadline, however, is only an estimate: it must still be officially confirmed by the club.
Gueye had nevertheless counted last season in the Hawks rotation. He played in 77 games, averaging 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game.
The Senegalese is continuing his rehabilitation today, with the hope of being back before the end of November. His schedule will, however, depend on the evolution of his physical condition and the decision of the Atlanta medical staff.
