Modernization of Mole 4: The main investor of the “Jambar” port project received by the Head of State

The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, received, this afternoon at the Palace of the Republic, Mr. Jean-Frédéric Brion, main investor in the “Jambar” port project, informed the communications services of the Presidency of the Republic.

The “Jambar” port project is part of a dynamic of modernization and enhancement of national port infrastructures. It concerns in particular the modernization of mole 4 of the Autonomous Port of Dakar and provides for the networking of the Dakar port platform with the ports of Kaolack, Ziguinchor and Saint-Louis, reports the same source.

This audience was an opportunity for Mr. Jean-Frédéric Brion to take stock, with the Head of State, of the progress of the project, as well as the next steps leading to its implementation.

The Jambaar Project is a strategic initiative launched in December 2025. The modernization of Môle 4 aims to reduce handling times, improve the reliability of operations and further secure logistics chains.
