Located in the heart of the commune, the center is named after Buur Saloum Mbegane Ndour, a historical figure of Saloum. The minister also reaffirmed the State’s commitment to territorial equity. “No territory should be left by the wayside,” he insisted. For her part, the mayor of Kahone, Fatou Sène Diouf, welcomed this achievement which, according to her, will contribute to the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the former capital of Saloum and the revival of the cultural dynamism of the region.
