The group phases of the CAN U20 2025 continued this Wednesday with the meetings of the third day. Favorite for the title, Morocco validated its ticket for the quarterfinals after its victory against Tunisia. Against the Carthage Aiglons in a fairly open meeting, the Atlas lion cubs won on the 3-1 score.

Ayman (44th), Smail Bakhty (86th) and Jones (90th+2) scored the three Moroccan goals. Doubal saved the honor for Tunisia. In the general classification, Morocco is first with 7 points. Tunisia, for its part, finishes third with 3 points and is eliminated from the competition.

Nigeria qualified for the second round

In the other meeting of this day, Nigeria and Kenya left on a parity score (2-2). Surprised by a combative Kenyan team, the Flying Eagles bet on the experience to return to the scoring twice. A draw that still makes the business of the Nigerians who compost their ticket for the quarter -finals.
