CAN U20 2025: Morocco finds South Africa in the final

Morocco qualified for the final of the CAN U20 2025 after its victory against Egypt (1-0) Thursday evening. The Atlas Lions will find South Africa, also qualified for the final sprint.

Favorite for the coronation, Morocco will play the CAN U20 2025 final. The Atlas Lions composed their ticket for the last round after their victory against Egypt on Thursday. Against the host country in a Magreb derby counting for the semi-finals of the tournament, young Moroccans won on the score of 1-0.

Shaken by a very combative Egyptian team, the Moroccan lions had to wait until the last quarter of an hour of play to snatch the victory. On a decisive pass from Aouad, Jones El-Abdellaoui adjusted the opposing goalkeeper to open the scoring in the 77th minute. A small advantage that Morocco will keep until the final whistle.

In the final, Morocco will face South Africa, a fall in Nigeria (1-0) in the other semi-final of this competition. The match is scheduled for Sunday at the Cairo International Stade in Egypt, from 7 p.m. (GMT+1). To add that the small final will take place on the same day at 4 p.m. (GMT+1) between Nigeria and Egypt, with the third place on the podium.
