“Bokk Guem Guem” (share a common vision, in French) joined the “Kiiraay-Les Patriotes Republicains” party. Its president Fatoumata Coulibaly works to strengthen the political dynamic of the formation of the President of the Republic in the commune of Patte d’Oie (Dakar). She thus intends to consolidate the place of women within the Senegalese political scene. In an interview with “Le Soleil”, on Saturday September 12, 2026, she declared that she was working for a new form of policy based on community development. “We have as a political base a movement (“Bokk Guem Guem”) which was created in 2018 and which aims to support the populations and more particularly the women at Patte d’Oie. In the pursuit of our activities which revolved around community development (donations of medicines, support for “daara”, free medical consultations, among others), we decided to participate in the local elections of January 2022 under the banner of “Guem Sa Bopp”,” she explained, recalling that this dynamic of social and community actions resulted in the formation of a political party called “Bokk Guem Guem”, in 2024, after obtaining its receipt. of recognition. A fight that she intends to continue within the “Kiiraay” party.
“Our doctrine is responsibility, ethics, transparency and respect for the value of work. We believe we can highlight these values dear to President Diomaye Faye within “Kiiraay”. In this sense, we are convinced that this party is the best formation to build a just, prosperous and united Senegal,” underlined the agent at the General Directorate of Public Accounting and the Treasury (Dgcpt).
She added that her supporters intend to stimulate a mass movement for the benefit of “Kiiraay” in the commune of Patte d’Oie and in other parts of the country. “We are in the middle of structuring “Kiiraay” at Patte d’Oie and we are working with other organizational leaders (movement presidents) in the commune. Our goal is to work in perfect synergy with all the components of the presidential movement in order to ensure its massification in our commune,” she indicated.
