Goudiry: a KIIRAY membership meeting mobilizes representatives of the 15 municipalities

Goudiry was the scene, on Sunday September 6, 2026, of a KIIRAY meeting marked by the mobilization of representatives of the 15 municipalities of the Goudiry department. The meeting brought together religious leaders, women’s groups, young people as well as stakeholders from the education and craft sectors.

On this occasion, the young leader Madani Diebel Ndiaye announced his membership in KIIRAY, a movement that he intends to put at the service of the development of Boundou. He notably mentioned the Diomaye Plan for Eastern Senegal and the National Transformation Agenda “Vision Senegal 2050”.

“I decided to join KIIRAY to develop Boundou through the Diomaye Plan for Eastern Senegal,” he declared, recalling his commitment to the candidacy of Bassirou Diomaye Faye in March 2024 and his election on March 24 of the same year.

Madani Diebel Ndiaye also called for the massification of the party and mobilization in favor of the head of state. He also paid tribute to the minister, chief of staff of the President of the Republic, Ousmane Abdoulaye Barro, whose attachment to Goudiry he underlined.

The populations, for their part, highlighted their expectations in terms of basic social infrastructure, production routes, electrification and access to water. Demands which reflect the development priorities of the department.
