Bamba Dieng: a new European challenge under the colors of Red Star Belgrade.

Senegalese international striker Bamba Dieng continues his career in Europe. After almost joining Nice, a club in Turkey then Lazio Rome, the former OM and Lorient player finally signed up, this Friday August 21, 2026, with Red Star Belgrade, in Serbia.

At 26, Bamba Dieng signed a two-year contract, with an optional additional year. He thus opens a new chapter in his career and will discover the Serbian championship with one of the most prestigious clubs in the country.

He could also play in the Europa League this season. His new club won 3-0 this Thursday against Viktoria Plzen, in the first leg, and is thus getting closer to qualification.
