415 young soldiers trained at the Kébémer Training Center

The flag presentation ceremony for contingent 2026/2 was held on Friday September 4 at the Auxiliary Gendarmerie Training Center (CIGA) in Kébémer. On this occasion, 415 young people completed their initial combat training.

Placed under the presidency of Colonel Mody Ka, commander of the Saint-Louis Gendarmerie Legion, the ceremony took place in the presence of the administrative, civil, customary and military authorities of the locality.

This stage marks the culmination of their training and preparation to serve the nation. The ceremony ended with a military parade, followed by a cocktail.
