The Choma Magistrate Court room was left in stitches when a man said he saw his wife undress in front of another man behind an Ant hill.
Byta FM Court Beat Scribe reports that this is in a case in which Harold Malumo (31) of Batoka in Choma district has been accused of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, contrary to Section 248 Chapter 87 of the Penal Code of The Laws of Zambia.
Four witnesses testified with the first one being McLeans Malambo (27), a farmer of the same village.
He narrated that on 17th September, 2017 his wife left home to go and look for some Okra in the bush but he followed without her knowledge.
He explained that while he hid in the nearby bushes, he then saw his wife with another man as they sat behind an Ant hill.
Munkombwe graphically explained that after a short time, his wife Astridah Munkombwe removed her underwear and spread a Chitenge on the ground and lay on it.
Munkombwe said at that moment, he then made noises just as his wife and Malumo were about to start having sex.
The two, according to Munkombwe scampered in different directions but he managed to apprehend the accused who fought him badly and bit him on his right thumb.
Munkombwe was however rescued by a Headman who lived nearby.
The second witness was Astridah Munkombwe (23) wife to the complainant, who in her testimony accepted to being in a sexual relationship with Malumo.
She admitted to having sexual intercourse with Malumo on two occasions with the first time being at State Ranch Farms around 14:00Hours.
The revelation sent the court room into hysterical laughter forcing the Prosecutor to send out four men for failing to control their excitement.
In his defense, Malumo denied to ever having sexual intercourse with Astridah and claimed that he was only defending himself when he bit Munkombwe and that he paid him K5, 500 to have the case withdrawn from the court.
Magistrate Richard Chikalanga adjourned the matter to 19th January, 2018 for judgement.
