His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and his entourage has left Pretoria South Africa for Zambia.

President Lungu left on Wednesday afternoon at Lanseria Airport aboard the presidential challenger.

He was seen off by Zambia’s High commissioner to South Africa Mr Emmanuel Mwamba and other High Commissioner staff.

President Lungu was in South Africa for consultative meetings with his counterpart President Cyril Ramaphosa concerning bilateral and regional matters.

The heads of State met at a luncheon held in honour of President Lungu at Oliver Tambo House in Pretoria.

Among matters discussed were the need to continue to strengthen bilateral relation between Zambia and that country.

President Lungu was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. Joe Malanji, Presidential Affairs Minister, Hon Freedom Sikazwe and State House Private Secretary Daniel Siwo.
The two heads of state also discussed among other things, matters related to the kingdom of Lesotho and Democratic Republic of Congo.

South Africa’s President, His Excellency Mr Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is expected in Zambia soon following his election as President of South Africa.
