A SOURCE within the Patriotic Front party has told Kwacha Times that there is an ongoing mobilisation of youths within the party who will begin to protest for the removal of party secretary general because he is bias.
According to a source that refused to be named for obvious reasons, the youths will protest and present a petition to President Lungu asking him to remove Mwila whom the youths say has failed to mobilise, unite and grow the party.
Last week in Matero, Mwila was chased from attending the intraparty elections because he wanted to manipulate the election in favour of his preferred candidate when the grassroot had its own preference.
And in Lusaka provincial contest, Mwila is trying to install Kennedy Kamba as Lusaka Province chairman despite that the grassroot has refused to retain Kamba into any structure because they say he is greedy, corrupt and violent against party members.
However, the source says the youths have so far secured funds from one of the party bigwigs which they intend to use to hire buses for fellow youths from across the country who will register their displeasure against how Davis Mwila is mismanaging the affairs of the party.
This week only, a renowned PF youth Munir Zulu told off Davis Mwila that he has failed and needs to be removed. Zulu said Mwila was an emotional person who puts ahead his emotion.
Meanwhile, Davis Mwila has been threatening to expel party members throughout the country without saying the reason why – but it is believed that Mwila is doing so to threaten people during the intraparty elections so that he has on structures persons he prefers.
Davis Mwila has been accused of running a group calling itself Luapula United which is organizing itself and intends to challenge President Lungu at the next PF convention.
