McDonald Chipenzi Gets K125,000,000 For Successfully Superintending UPND Convention

Gears Executive Director McDonald Chipenzi has walked away from the just ended UPND convention with a whopping K125,000,000.

The virtual Elective General Assembly was heavily funded by Brenthurst foundation an organization run by Mr. Greg Mills, HH’s close friend and Business Partner.

Some Civil Society Organizations such as Francis Chipili’s ZIGLAP, The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) and Linda Kasonde’s Chapter One Foundation wrote to the UPND Chairman for Elections Hon. Garry Nkombo and the Secretary General Mr. Steven Katuka seeking permission to observe and monitor the General Assembly but where ignored. Macdonald Chipenzi’s GEARS despite not applying was still handpicked leaving out those that applied.

Mr. Chipenzi who has ambitions of contesting the Siavonga Parliament seat on the UPND ticket in this year’s Elections has according UPND inside information now increased his chances of getting adoption after successfully doing what he was instructed to do at the General Assembly.

In 2016, Mr. Chipenzi lost an adoption to contest for the Siavonga Constituency on the UPND ticket to Honourable Darius Mulundu the incumbent Siavonga Member of Parliament. He will again try his luck and challenge Hon. Mulundu once Parliament is dissolved ahead of August 12th Elections.
