Magistrate Betty Malupenga has adjourned the alleged treason hearing matter involving UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and 5 others which was slated for today to Wednesday, 24th May, 2017.

In her adjournment, Magistrate Malupenga informed the Court that the Magistrate in charge of the matter, David Simusamba was unwell but that the matter comes up on Wednesday for the slated ruling.

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema remains in jail and will on Wednesday, hear whether the alleged treason charge slapped on him will proceed to the High court for committal ( trials) or constitutional issues.
