UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has assured men and women in uniform and civil servants in general of better conditions of service when in government.
Speaking when he addressed thousands of people at Kasama’s Buseko Grounds in Northern Province yesterday and in the company of his Vice-President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, Mr. Hichilema stated that he was aware of the numerous challenges that men and women in uniform and civil servants in general were grappling with but assured them that he would immediately address their plight.

Thank you to our fellow citizens who turned out in thousands during our card renewal exercise at Buseko Ground today in Kasama, Northern Province.
Our task is to unite and develop our country, empower the women and youth with education and business opportunities.
Zero tolerance for corruption policy will be our guiding principle when in government. Civil servants, men and women in uniform, we know the challenges you are facing. Even if you are coerced into harming us, be rest assured that we will take care of you and improve your conditions of service. Therefore let’s join hands in moving our country forward.
