ECCAS designated the President of the Central African Republic as the “facilitator of the political process” in Gabon, tasking Touadéra with engaging in talks with all Gabonese stakeholders and the country’s partners. This mediation is part of regional efforts aimed at restoring stability and institutional legitimacy in Gabon.
