Friendly FIFA Days: Egypt's list, without Mohamed Salah

Egypt's new national coach, Hossam Hassan, revealed this weekend his list of players called up for the international break in March. Captain Mohamed Salah is absent from the group.

After a CAN 2023 where it finished in the round of 16, eliminated on penalties by the DRC, Egypt will return to the pitch. The Pharaohs will play matches in March, counting towards the FIFA Days. The national team will actually participate in a mini tournament in the United Arab Emirates. A competition which will bring together four nations: Egypt, Tunisia, New Zealand and Croatia.

For the occasion, the brand new coach Hossam Hassan revealed the list of players selected. The selection coach trusted several players without star Mohammed Salah. Objective, to allow them to better prepare for future competitions, in particular the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which resume next June.
