THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has clarified the mix-up in kit for the players and technical bench in the 2-1 win over Portugal in a Group C match. FAZ Communications Manager Desmond Katongo said that the technical bench was donned in Kappa attire following the last minute changes FIFA directed to be made to the new kit leaving out the rest of the complement to be worked on later.

CONTROVERSIAL Malawian Prophet Shepered Bushiri has lashed back at Copperbelt Minister Bowman Lusambo asking him to close his mine if he wants. In a live broadcast on his Prophetic channel Prophet Bushiri told Lusambo that, “close the mine if you want, I will never stop coming to Zambia”. He said government should know, it’s the same Christians who go to vote for them during elections.
3) 21 YEAR OLD IMPRISONED FOR STEALING CLOTHES WORTH K 850 FROM A LINE IN ITEZH ITEZHI DISTRICT
A 21 YEAR-OLD suspect in Itezhi Tezhi district in central province has been sentenced to 12 months in correctional facility for allegedly stealing clothes worth K850.Appearing before Itezhi Tezhi Magistrates Mubita Munalula was Joe Isiteketo, who stood charged with one count of Simple theft, an offence contrary to the Laws of Zambia.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charge of simple theft when he took plea in the Itezhi Tezhi courtroom on Friday.The allegations against Isiteketo are that on May 12, 2017 in Itezhi Tezhi at Itezhi Tezhi district, Isiteketo did steal 4×1 T/shirts, sweat shirts and other clothes valued at K850 belonging to Honest Milimo.Isiteketo pleaded guilty of stealing the clothes and Magistrates Mubita Munalula convicted him.
4) IT IS A LIE SAYS MINISTER OF NATIONAL GUIDANCE AND RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
MINISTER of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Hon. Godfridah Sumaili has dismissed allegations that her Ministry has set up guidelines to prevent small churches from operating. And Sumaili has said it was a total fabrication that her Ministry had set up guidelines demanding that Pastors should hold degrees in Theology.
