Belgian based winger Fashion Sakala has not travelled with the Chipolopolo Boys to Guinea Bissau for this Sunday’s Cameroon 2019 African Cup of Nations.
And the Chipolopolo Boys arrived in Bissau, the capital city of the Portuguese speaking Guinea on Thursday night at around 21h45.
Fashion, who was unused substitute on Wednesday night at National Heroes Stadium in the the 2-1 victory has been excused from the fixture for personal reasons.
Though the Football Association of Zambia, FAZ are yet to comment on the 21 year old’s withdraw, the ZamFoot Crew understands that KV Oostende winger left camp on Wednesday.
“The coach (Sven Vandenbroeck) allowed the boys to mingle with their family members and friends after the game at Golden Peacook but Fashion was missing at the hotel’s lounge,”
It was soon established that the player had been given permission to visit his sick mother.
With Fashion out, Vandenbroeck now has 23 players in his travelling part.
