Mwine Lubemba Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Kanyanta Manga Sosala II says he declined to meet UPND President Hakainde Hichilema because his alliance partner James Lukuku insulted him.
The traditional leader says Mr. Hichilema refused to distance himself from the insults unleashed by Lukuku.
He says traditional leaders must be impartial but work with the Government of the day.
The ParamountChief was speaking when President Edgar Lungu paid a courtesy call on him today at his palace in Mungwi District, Northern Province.
And President Edgar Lungu says he has information regarding people planning chaos in Zambia.
The President says he will not allow anarchy in the country and has since directed law enforcement agencies to be alert.
The Head of State says the signs of violence in Lukashya Constituency in Kasama District might be uncontrollable during next year’s general elections if left unchecked.
He also says Government will deliver farming inputs on time and has urged implementing officers to do their part.
The President is in Northern Province to drum up support for PF Candidate in the Lukashya Parliamentary By -election George Chisanga.
