CAS verdict: “Senegal has prepared its case well”, reassures Djireye Clotilde Coly

After Senegal’s victory against Morocco in the final of the 2025 African Cup of Nations (CAN), the Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided to award the trophy to Morocco after an appeal from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). But the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in order to recover its dues. Moreover, the trial will take place this Thursday, October 8, 2026, with a verdict expected in the coming days.
