CAN 2024 qualifier (F): DRC-Benin, Senegal-Mozambique, the program for the first round
The qualifying phases of the 2024 women’s CAN are in the spotlight this week with the first round first leg matches. Discover the different matches on the program.
Gathering in Cotonou, Benin is competing this week for its qualification for the second qualifying round of the 2024 Women’s CAN which will take place in Morocco, host of the competition. The Amazons will face the DRC this Friday in Kinshasa in the first round. A big challenge for the Beninese who hope to snatch victory to take an option on qualifying for the next round.
Just like the Benin team, several nations will compete in this first round of qualifications. Burkina Faso will cross swords with Eswatini this Wednesday. That same day, Ghana will face Rwanda while Algeria will face Uganda. The first leg will continue on Thursday with Congo Brazzaville moving to Guinea-Bissau, and again on Friday with Cameroon-Kenya. The return leg will be played immediately on September 24 and 25.
