Cameroon: André Onana and Rigobert Song have made peace
While they had an icy relationship since the scene of the 2022 World Cup, André Onana and Rigobert Song seem to have buried the hatchet. The Cameroon coach and his goalkeeper showed some complicity during Tuesday’s training session.
The photos were widely shared on social networks by the Cameroonian Football Federation. And the conclusion is unanimous: Rigobert Song and André Onana seem to have smoked the pipe of peace. The coach of the Indomitable Lions and his goalkeeper were filmed in full exchange, visibly friendly, during the training session on Tuesday.
On the images taken by Fécafoot, we can see the Manchester United goalkeeper, smiling, listening to the former captain of Cameroon. A scene which undoubtedly closes the debate on the tensions between the two men peddled in recent days by rumors. Now it’s time to play!
As a reminder, Cameroon will face Burundi on September 12 in Garoua. Second in group C with 4 points, the Indomitable Lions are neck and neck with their opponents, 4 units also on the clock. A draw would allow coach Rigobert Song’s men to validate their ticket for the trip to Ivory Coast.
