Bignona: the suspension of Navétanes lifted

BIGNONA – The Inter zones of Bignona lifted the suspension of the activities of the Navétane movement after the financial support of 5,000,000 CFA francs provided by the Minister of the Armed Forces, Yankhoba Diémé.

The decision was taken after the official delivery of this contribution, on Tuesday August 25, 2026 in Bignona, by a delegation dispatched by the minister. This contribution will resolve part of the financial difficulties linked in particular to security costs, set at 92,200 CFA francs per day.

The minister announced the payment of 62,200 CFA francs per day. “We now have to pay 30,000 CFA francs,” explained Djiby Diouf Diatta, president of zone 5 R, Odcav de Bignona, while expressing his gratitude to the Minister of the Armed Forces, Yankhoba Diémé.

After this lifting of the suspension of activities, the Navétanes movement resumes its course in Bignona.
