Beach Soccer CAN 2026: Senegal will host the competition from November 28 to December 6

Initially scheduled for November 7 to 15, 2026, the Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations (CAN) will finally be held from November 28 to December 6 in Senegal, announced the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF).

This rearrangement of the calendar was decided by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in consultation with the FSF, due in particular to the high density of the Senegalese sports calendar at the end of the year.

Senegal will host, from October 31 to November 13, the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The postponement of the Beach Soccer CAN therefore aims to facilitate the coordination of these two international sporting events and to optimize the conditions for organizing the continental competition.

Reigning African champion, Senegal will play this edition at home with the ambition of retaining their continental trophy.
