Audiences with Spanish economic actors: Bassirou Diomaye Faye activates investment levers
Yesterday, the Head of State held numerous audiences with Spanish economic players. The discussions focused on structuring projects, ranging from the modernization of health infrastructure to the positioning of Senegal as a regional air connectivity hub.
Bassirou Diomaye Faye received yesterday, the last day of his official visit to Madrid, the managers of Quantum Solutions and the Indra group as well as a delegation from the Fuerteventura Chamber of Commerce. According to a press release from the presidency, “these hearings are part of a dynamic of strengthening economic relations between Senegal and Spain, drawing in particular on the Alliance Africa Avanza cooperation framework, which promotes the development of strategic partnerships and bilateral investment.”
Quantum Solutions is a firm specializing in strategic consulting and complex project engineering. During the audience granted to the managers of this company, informs the Presidency of the Republic, “the discussions focused on the structuring project of reconstruction of the Aristide Le Dantec hospital, with the ambition of providing Senegal with a modern hospital infrastructure meeting international standards”. As for the Indra group, it is the “European leader in defense technologies, transport systems and digital transformation”. This is why Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Faye discussed with the managers of this company “on high-impact projects, in particular the development of the Aibd Hub Connect aimed at positioning Senegal as a regional air connectivity hub, as well as on advanced solutions in defense and security systems”. According to the press release from the Presidency of the Republic, the last audience was granted to the Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura.
This meeting allowed both parties to “explore concrete opportunities for territorial cooperation, linked to the tourism, trade and investment sectors, while promoting the role of the Senegalese diaspora”. “Through these meetings, the President of the Republic reaffirms a clear direction: mobilize key partners, accelerate the implementation of structuring projects and strengthen the attractiveness of Senegal in strategic sectors with high potential,” informs the Presidency of the Republic.
