Aminata Touré: “We want a parliamentary majority”
In an interview with BBC Africa, former Prime Minister Aminata Touré outlined the ambition of the presidential camp: to win a parliamentary majority if early legislative elections were organized.
“If early legislative elections were to be organized, our objective would obviously be to obtain the parliamentary majority,” declared Mimi Touré. She also believes that the ruling coalition already has a solid base for the next municipal elections in 2027.
“We intend to win the majority of local authorities,” said Aminata Touré, maintaining that the presidential camp is preparing for all eventualities in order to strengthen its representation in institutions.
