Bignona: a collision between two transport vehicles leaves around ten people injured

A collision between two public transport vehicles occurred on the morning of Monday at the major Tendiem bend, in the department of Bignona, leaving around ten people injured, according to a provisional report.

According to testimonies collected on site, the two vehicles collided on this road. Among the victims, several suffered serious injuries and were evacuated to the Ziguinchor Regional Hospital Center for specialized treatment.

The other injured, whose condition is considered stable, were admitted to the Bignona health district, where they are receiving the necessary care.

According to initial information, no loss of life was recorded. An investigation should be opened to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
