22 years for… an accident (Omar DIOUF’s post)

All lives are equal, but we must ask ourselves why the death of three American citizens in “a single” accident is more “dearly paid” than the “41 deaths” from 1,068 accidents in the Louga region in 2026? The severity of the penalty required in the USA is undoubtedly a deterrent to encourage all vehicle drivers to be careful while driving and more attentive on the road. And the Senegalese sanction of “one month” is very different from the “22 years” of the American one…
